A critical review on electro-analysis of clinically important drug Paracetamol

Paracetamol have been extensively used in both the human and veterinary clinics due to its
antipyretic and analgesic properties.It is considered as a well-tolerated drug in patients
suffering from aspirin intolerance, ulcers, or difficulty in blood clotting. It is very important to
monitor the doses of paracetamol in the patient’s body under examination since the overdose
results in accumulation of toxic metabolites which may cause severe adverse effects. Due to a
wide use of paracetamol and the adverse effects of its over dose, it is alwaysbeing an
interesting issue to develop suitable techniques for its quantitative as well as qualitative
analysis. The development of simple, convenient, highly sensitive, versatile, fast and economic
techniques is very necessary to control the over uses of this drug causing many side effects.
Various techniques used for the determination and detection of paracetamol have been
reviewed in this paper predominantly focusing on electro-analytical methods.

Primum non nocere is a principle proclaimed by Hippocrates and remains relevant throughout the history of medicine. Unfortunately, pharmacotherapy does not always correspond to it. Although modern oral antibacterial drugs generally have a favorable safety profile, there are still many side effects. Antibacterial, like all medicines, have side effects, some of the side effects can be serious and some are dire. The use of antibacterial drugs in all areas of medicine, often unreasonable indications for their use, free access for the potential consumer - all this leads to irrational use of drugs, starting from an early age. More than 50% of diseases are infectious in nature. Infectious drugs account for 20% of all drugs currently used in medicine. The misuse of antibiotics is fraught with the development of antimicrobial resistance in the pathogen.

Nanotechnology has laid the foundation to nanomedicine production and still appears the cornerstone for ongoing global medical studies, since at nanometric scale the physical properties of materials vary, resulting in innovative magnetic, biochemical, visual and electrical characteristics. In addition to the huge amount of funds and capital, the emergence of new medicinal products against the changed pathological condition of our bodies is also challenging in view of maximum rate of failure. The modifications with in structures of products in nano particle form, altered the way of diagnosis and treatment of destructive human diseases by using medicines capable in effective management by modifying the step of discharge, delivery and disposal in the body. Smart nanoparticles are such one of the most demanding nano systems for drug delivery to targeted genes that can overcome the problems during treatment itself. Present review paper discussed the types and uses of various types of response-based smart nanoparticles to drug delivery practices.

The infection or contagoiuosness of a novel coronavirus found in China (2019-nCoV) is rapidly spreading and increasing worldwide. Due to the lack of effective treatment options for 2019-nCoV, various strategies are being tested all over the world. In this study, we are presented a medicinal impoertances of Hydroxy Chloroquine in the treatment of 2019-nCoV as it is having pretty much similarities with malaria in terms of primary symptoms. However not only Hydroxy Chloroquine can cure the disease, there is a need of proper vaccine for this particular virus to get control in its spread along with multi drug therapy.
