Crop farming in India is labored intensive and obsolete. Farming is still dependent on techniques which were evolved hundreds of years ago and does not take care of conservation of resources. The newer scenario of decreasing water tables, drying up of rivers and tanks, unpredictable environment presents an urgent need of proper utilization of water. We have the technology to bridge the gap between water usage and water wastage. Technology used in some developed countries is too expensive and complicated for a common farmer to understand. Our project is to give cheap, reliable, cost efficient and easy to use technology which would help in conservation of resources such as water and in atomizing farms. We proposed use of Position sensor, Light intensity sensor, temperature sensor, Remote lights, and switches at suitable locations for monitoring of crops. The sensing system is based on a feedback control mechanism with a centralized control. The sensor data would be collected in a central processing unit which would take further action. Thus, by providing right amount of water we would increase the efficiency of the farm. The farmer can also look at the sensory data and decide course of action himself. We have made the interface of our project keeping in view the educational and financial background of average Indian farmer. In this project we proposed a low cost and efficient wireless sensor network technique to acquire the Position and light from various locations of farm and as per the need of crop controller take the decision to make irrigation ON or OFF.

A Secured and Associated Congestion Hybrid AODA Protocol in WSN Networks using MANETS

Ad-Hoc Network is an independent arrangement of portable Hubs or nodes associated by remote associations. Hubs or nodes are free to travel, every now and again change their position and sort out themselves into a system. Hubs or nodes contain remote transmitter and beneficiary that permit them to participate in remote system. Hubs or nodes in MANET having double conduct, they go about as switches just as registering gadgets. Constrained transmission capacity and changing geography results the issue of Congestion in MANETs. Recognizing Congestion is troublesome in remote system, since there might be a few purposes for dropping of parcels. Specially appointed system is characterized as the system wherein the clients speak with one another by shaping a transitory system with no concentrated organization. Here every hub demonstration both as a host just as a switch. They have profoundly deployable, dynamic and self-configurable geographies. Different steering conventions are characterized for MANETs. Congestion and security issues are both solved in this paper using bloom filter and congestion aware protocol hybrid combination in AODV protocol. The results show better energy, PDR, throughput and high speed of the wireless sensor network.

Agro based crop and fertilizer recommendation system using machine learning

Over one third of world are employed in agriculture and the quantity is gradually falling because the financial losses of the farmers. One of the causes behind this momentary loss is the shortage for era in agriculture. Continuous cropping and over use of fertilizers cause the decline in soil productiveness and impact the environment as well The paper explains how the amount of soil vitamins and environmental factors followed by the pointers for cropping and special fertilization of the site can be established. 1 The selection of the best crop for the soil and the sowing of it to provide the full yield is one of the key problems in agriculture. The proposed method takes the soil and PH samples as the input and helps to predict the crops that can be recommended suitable for the soil and fertilizer that can be used as the solution in the form of the webpage.So, the soil information is collected through sensors an the data transmitted from the Arduino through Zigbee and WSN ( Wireless Sensor Network) to MATLAB and analyzing the soil data and processing is done with help of ANN (Artificial Neural Network) and crop recommendations is done using SVM ( Support Vector Machine ) .
