PYTHAGOREAN FCM ANALYSIS ON THE IMPACTS OF ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES IN LEARNING OF SCHOOL CHILDREN

Learning is a dynamic activity and it involves the active presence of both mind and body.
The factors that affect the process of learning, especially of school children, are mostly the
factors that relate to their mind or psyche. The minds of the children are shaped or affected
mostly by the factors in their family as the children’s world is very much confined to the
family. The family background and the experiences of children in the family or
neighbourhood plays a vital role in setting their mind towards learning. In this paper, we
analyse several factors which are the adverse childhood experiences that affect the
learning process of school children and determine the most important of them. For this
purpose, fuzzy cognitive maps (FCM) is modified with Pythagorean fuzzy numbers as edge
weights. A new simulation process is proposed and executed. The fixed points obtained
through this process indicates the dominant factors that affect learning of school children.
