The article deals with theoretical approaches to determining the categories of “economic potential” and “economic growth”, the problems of efficient use of the region’s potential, substantiates the direction and degree of influence of the shadow economy on economic growth, reveals the essence of the shadow economy (households) as an element of economic potential, correlation and regression analysis of households and per capita GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a new alternative method for constructing correlation the model to obtain more accurate indicators that are very close to real.

Granger Causality Analysis on Exports and GDP: A Case of Indian Punjab

The study analyse the relationship between export and economic of Punjab nations since 1989 using the Unit Root Testing, Co-Integration and Granger Causality. The main aim of the study is to analyse the relationship between economic growth and exports using time series data from the period 1989–90 to 2018-19. The main findings of the study were, LOGEXPORT does not Granger Cause LOGGDP and LOGGDP does not Granger Cause LOGEXPORT.
