THE STUDY OF THE INTERACTION OF ADHESIVE WITH THE SUBSTRATE SURFACE IN A NEW COMPOSITE MATERIAL BASED ON MODIFIED GYPSUM AND TREATED RICE STRAW

The article considers the issues of thermochemical treatment of the surface of plant aggregates to ensure strong adhesive interaction with a gypsum matrix in a composite building material. A selection of additives contributing to the improvement of adhesive strength and physical and mechanical properties of gypsum boards was conducted. A comparative analysis of the effect of moisture sorption on the durability of the composite material at the processing of fiber aggregates was also performed.

The article discusses the possibility of using a treated rice straw as a fibrous filler in composite gypsum boards and describes the method of thermochemical treatment of this agricultural waste in order to increase its dispersion-reinforcing effect. The research findings on the synergistic effect by the modifying additive “FremNanogis” on the formation of the structure of the gypsum-fiber composition are presented.
