COVID-19 – Impact on Banking and Insurance Sector

COVID-19 affects various industries and economies across the world. India is one amongst the countries severely affected and in 3rd place globally. BSFI sector, which is one in every of the cores for the Indian economy, also affected poorly thanks to COVID-19. during this paper, we discuss various factors like lockdown approach, moratorium, different impacts in banking, financial services and insurance sector. Further, we've given some recommendations to mitigate things so the financial services can continue with the less negative impact which can help for better services to the customer and minimal revenue loss to the financial organisation.

Abstract. This article provides an overview of compulsory insurance in developed countries
such as Germany, Israel, the United States of America and the possibility of applying this
type of insurance in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The risks and ways of overcoming them
are assessed, as well as the costs required to create a perfect model of health insurance
based on the gross domestic product produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In today’s tough competition, each employer in provider quarter tries hard to satisfy
their purchaser. In Insurance sector, various new personal organizations have entered in
enterprise by means of doing the merger with foreign businesses. Every day, they are
presenting new offerings with the fundamental plan to draw the new clients & for
maintaining the present clients. In this paper, I attempted to understand the consumer
behaviour in Insurance zone. The foremost goal of this paper to perceive customer
preference regarding plans & agency, their cause of purchasing the insurance regulations,
satisfaction degree & their destiny plans for brand spanking new insurance coverage. Data
become amassed with help of established questionnaire from 200 customers of Bangalore
city. Sample became taken on the basis of convenience sampling, but handiest 192
questionnaires were used for analysis as the remaining 8 had been no longer stuffed
properly by the respondents. Percentage, frequency & Cross tabulation methods had been
used for analysis.
