The term "COVID 19" refers to the corona virus disease that first appeared in 2019 and was discovered in Wuhan, China, in December of that same year. This was a pandemic viral sickness that severely damaged the biosphere as well as the lives of all living things. It had an impact on people on all levels of devastation, including their bodily, mental, and psychological health as well as their social, economic, cultural, educational, and political lives. It also had a detrimental impact regardless of one's age, gender, socioeconomic status, etc. Every group in the human population had been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, including the elderly, the young, the young at heart, and children. In this regard, the mental, physical, and psychological health of students was impaired by the impact of COVID-19, and the education of students was also negatively impacted. This research study aims to investigate the effects of online instructions on undergraduate students. Data were gathered using a primary approach, such as a questionnaire, and secondary data were also gathered from a variety of study-related sources, including articles, journals, books, census data, etc.. In light of the fact that online classes harm students' health, result in  strengthen learners' departure from real biosphere, weaken learners' logical aptitude, and facilitate face-to-face interactive association, this study explains the detrimental effects of online education on undergraduate students

Validity And Reliability Test For Research Instruments Regarding Health Professional Student Satisfaction Towards Online Learning During The Covid-19 Pandemic

In the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the strategies carried out to break the chain of transmission, one of which is by limiting social activities. A physical distancing policy has also been created which causes the face-to-face teaching and learning process to be transformed into an online learning system. Research is needed on the factors that can affect the satisfaction of health professional students related to online learning which requires valid instruments to answer research problems. The aim of study is determining the content validity of the questionnaire as a research instrument on the factors that influence health professional student satisfaction with online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The content validity of the instrument was carried out on 52 statement items by 7 experts. The validated instrument is an online questionnaire which refers to and adopts and modifies the questionnaire used by Pei-Chen Sun. The results of the validation of the 52 statement items obtained S-CVI/Ave by 7 experts of 0,953, S-CVI/Ave based on I-CVI of 0,945, S-CVI/UA of 0,731. Initial CVI of 0.890, but 4 items were eliminated, there were 48 statement items used as a research instrument with a final CVI of 0.935. The reliability test results obtained a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient value is 0.912. Calculating CVR, CVI and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient ensures that the questionnaire used as a research instrument is valid and reliable to assess the factors that influence health professional student satisfaction with online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently universities have been transforming the teaching model, developing Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), during the period of COVID-19 free courses have been offered to expand online learning. The objective is to know whether the use of MOOC courses has increased during the pandemic period and whether it has impacted learning and online skills. The new methodologies have adapted toteaching. Online learning is helping to access educational content and offering the possibility to combine with work.
In this article, you're interested in analyzing students' reflections on online teaching versus face-to-face learning. In order to analyze student reflection, quantitative research was conducted involving 150 university students entries registered in MOOC programs; among the results it is highlighted that the use of the courses has increased during this period having a high motivation in the study. In conclusion, it is highlighted that higher education has given a response to COVID by strengthening the new skills of university teachers.

A Survey Of Undergraduate Students On Online Learning During Covid-19 Pandemic In The Indian State Of Manipur

This research looks into how undergraduate students used social media and video apps for online learning during the Covid-19 lockdown. In Manipur, online learning or teaching online is a relatively new phenomenon. Theoretical concepts of Communities of Inquiry (COI), such as teaching, cognitive, and social presences, were applied to online learning during the pandemic. Survey questionnaires, focus interviews, and various research methodologies were used to assess online learning and its impact. A total of 188 undergraduate students were administered the Google forms, and 10 undergraduate students provided focus interviews. Using SPSS, cross-tabulation and Chi-Square tests were done to look for significance. Students' attitudes toward critical thinking and provoking debates were found to be significant findings, indicating that there is a teaching presence. Students were encouraged to think critically and ask questions. Students trust teachers as knowledge givers, as evidenced by their 82 percent approval that the lecturer possesses the knowledge. For sharing class notes, lecturers used WhatsApp, and for conducting formal classes, they used the Zoom app. Even though one-third of the students had poor Internet access, they could still communicate with their professors, though this is a flaw that needs to be addressed appropriately. The lecturers were forced to learn a new paradigm to deal with a changing context, and as a result, they became capable of completing the task at hand.

Undergraduate Students’ Perspective About Online Learning: A Case Study Of Hashemite University Students In Jordan

Introduction: The current COVID-19 pandemic caused a rapid shift from in-class to online learning in higher education. This shift created an educational environment that confused universities and faculty members. Since students are regarded as an axis around which everything revolves in the teaching-learning context, it is necessary to inquire into their views about this form of education. Therefore, the present study aimed to examine undergraduate students’ perspective about online learning and the extent to which it influenced them positively or negatively in respect of psychological state, learning and skill acquisition, level of interaction, and financial state. It also aimed to explore their views about the pros and cons of online learning. Method: This study used a mixed method of research design. It used a questionnaire and questionnaire interview in order for the qualitative results to support the quantitative ones. One hundred and thirty-one students participated in the present study. Results: The study indicated that the psychological state of students was ranked first and their level of interaction was ranked last regarding the influence online learning had on them. It also indicated that the interviewees highlighted advantages for online learning, such as time and effort saving, ease of communication, lecture follow-up and feedback and disadvantages, such as lack of interaction, internet and electricity, and motivation. In addition, the study showed no significant differences in students’ responses to the four categories or aspects due to gender, residential area, and the type school they graduated from. However, they revealed significant differences between Arts and Information Technology students’ responses. Conclusion: These results may enlighten policy makers and university officials and make them improve the level of electronic services for students.

Indonesian Student's Perception of Online Learning Activities in the Time of Pandemic

Dirumahaja or stay at home movement is thought the most effective policy to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission. People cannot do nearly allactivities, including formal education, together anymore . However, in fact, the ongoing onlinelearning has itw own advantages and disadvantages. This research aims to describe student’s experience with online learning. This study used online survey as data collection technique. Three hundred and fifteen students participated in filling the questionnaire.The result showed that 43.33% of students learnthrough LMS, 19.44% through video conferencing, and 37,22% through WhatsAppgroups and emails.As many as 39.21% of them felt uncomfortable, 37.25% normal, and 23.52% comfortable with it. Their discomfort is generally caused by tiring learning activities,i.e doing lots of tasks in spite of incomprehensive materials.
