M/G/1 QUEUEING MODEL WITH ARBITRARY SERVICE TIME BASED ON FUZZY RANDOMNESS

Fuzzy waiting line models venture diversified footprints galvanizing on uncertain realm of the world. This study explains a fuzzy queuing model which signifiesthe arrival distribution𝝀𝟎asPoisson and the service time𝝁𝟎is arbitrarily distributed, FCFS discipline. The synchronization of this paper is to extract the membership functions of the execution proportions like the average and variance of queue length for two fuzzy queues based on Randomness principle and the efficacy of different parameters of the system performance measuresis fathomed by numerical exploration.

HYBRID METHOD OF MRI BRAIN SEGMENTATION USING FUZZY K-MEANS

In this paper, a proposed hybrid algorithm using K-means and Fuzzy logic for brain segmentation, is developed, simulated and evaluated. The system identifies the white matter, gray matter and Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF). The proposed system was tested using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and evaluated in terms of the misclassification rate and percentage of clustering. The misclassification rate was found to be lesser in the proposed system as compared to the existing systems using K-means and Fuzzy logic. Further, the percentage of clustering is improved by the proposed system as compared to the existing algorithms. This work paves the way for future development of Neuro Fuzzy K-means algorithm in order to reduce the misclassification rate further in clustering the white matter, gray matter and CSF.

Inflation Based Fuzzy EOQ Model

The purpose of filling is to continue the flow of goods through the system. Implementing a tailored compensation policy is an important issue in developing the production ordering model. Inflation effects the Cost values in an inventory system. Financial state of any organization depends largely on the fluctuations in the inflation rate. Based on the above context this document provides a detailed policy of defective items for different cycle times subject to inflation and incorporating the uncertainties prevailing in the environment. The change in the cost parameters over a passage of time is included in the fuzzy sense so as bring the model close to a realistic solution. Insufficiency in the supply of the goods is partially fulfilled. Validation of the results in done through numerical example.
