Systematic Review of Moringa oleifera's Potential as Antibacterial and Anti-Inflammatory in the Oral Cavity
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 10, Pages 144-161
Introduction: Moringa plant is a plant that is spread throughout the region in Indonesia and has many benefits. Moringa oleifera L. plant is also known as the “miracle of tree” because almost all parts of the plant, from the leaves, bark, seeds, fruit of moringa to the roots are used by humans, especially as traditional medicine. So this systematic review reviews some of the literature on the potential of moringa plants as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory in the oral cavity. Methods: In this systematic review, article searches were conducted on Google Search and Pubmed. Studies published from 2011 to 2020. 104 articles were rated, including 104 articles from electronic databases, 0 from manual search. 96 records were screened, 63 records were excluded, 33 full-text articles were assessed for eligibility and 17 full-text articles were included. Result: There are 8 articles about antibacterial of Moringa oleifera and 10 articles about anti-inflammatory of Moringa oleifera. Conclusion: Based on 18 articles show that chitosan is very potential as a herbal plant that can be antibacterial and anti-inflammatory in the oral cavity.
ORAL STEREOGNOSIS- A LITERATURE REVIEW

Stereognosis refers to the ability to identify and discriminate the form of an object solely based on the sensation of touch. Similarly, oral stereognosis is the capability of an individual to discern the form and shape of an object inside their oral cavity without any visual assistance. The oral stereognostic ability evaluates the oral functioning of an individual and also determines the response of patients towards various dental therapies. This is accomplished by the association of more than one group of mechanoreceptors that are located on several oral structures. Oral streognostic testing greatly depends on the design of the experiment, since both the method and the material used for this kind of studies dramatically influences its result. The subject of oral stereognosis is closely linked with the overall oral health of an individual and their treatment per se, and needs wide exploration. This review is thus an attempt to comprehend the various aspects of oral stereognosis and provide clearer guidelines for further research in this field.
Determination Of The Immunological Status Of The Oral Cavity Of The Child Population With Congenital Lip And Palate In The Studied Areas

In connection with the continuing chemicalization of agriculture in the republic and the increasing intensification of industrial production, the danger of chemical pollution of objects of the human environment, disturbance of the ecological balance and their negative impact on the health of the population increases. As you know, in the conditions of Uzbekistan, the main sources of environmental pollution in rural areas are large-scale use of pesticides and mineral fertilizers, and in industrial cities - emissions from various industrial enterprises; in some cotton-growing regions, there is a combined pollution of the environment with pesticides, mineral fertilizers and industrial emissions
Hygienic Condition Of The Oral Cavity And The Level Of Hygienic Knowledge Of Silk Motor Workers
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 3, Pages 3027-3033
The article presents information about the hygienic state of the oral cavity, the state of periodontal tissues, the level of hygienic knowledge and measures of therapeutic and prophylactic measures among workers of silk-winding production. The object of study was 97 workers of the alkaline-winding industry "Bukhara Brilliant Silk", who are exposed to industrial noise, as one of the harmful production factors, also the dustiness of the air in working rooms in various workshops and, in terms of importance, harmful, production factors are microclimatic conditions, at the age of 29 59 years. The control group consisted of 44 employees of the administrative and managerial apparatus, whose work process excludes the impact of factors of the working environment. The results of the research revealed the total prevalence of diseases of hard tissues of teeth (99.1%) and periodontal disease (100%) among workers of the alkaline industry "Bukhara Brilliant Silk", a high prevalence of diseases of the oral mucosa - 58.7%, a low level of oral hygiene and hygiene knowledge. There is an obvious need to develop a targeted prevention program, including a comprehensive - individual, professional oral hygiene and health education.
