Abstract

The ambit of fixed prosthodontic treatment ranges from restoration of a single tooth with cast
crown to replacement of one or more missing teeth with fixed dental prosthesis or an implant
supported prosthesis[1] Fixed prosthodontic treatment also includes restoration of entire
dentition. Fractured vital tooth may require a full coverage crown. Fixed prosthodontic
treatment enriches patient comfort and enhances masticatory ability and esthetics. It helps to
maintain the health and integrity of dental arches
