Abstract
The present study was undertaken to analyse the photochemical constituents both qualitatively and quantitatively in the fruit extract of Coccinia grandis. The DPPH, hydroxyl radical and hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity of the methanolic and ethyl acetate extract were found to be better than the other extracts used in the study.Keywords: C.sinensis peel, HPTLC, antioxidant, phenolic compound, phyto constituents.
