Abstract

Horse gramis used as a remedy for kidney stones, bronchial asthma, bronchitis, leukoderma, urinary discharges, heart diseases and piles. Besides, it also possesses anti-diabetic, anti-ulcer interest and helps in nutritional management of obesity due to the presence of beneficial bioactive compounds.The opium poppy (Papaver somniferum) produces a variety of extensively used medicinal alkaloids like morphine, codeine, thebain and porphyroxine which might be the maximum important element of this plant. It is used as analgesic, narcotic, sedative, stimulant in addition to nutritive, and so forth. It is also beneficial in headache, cough, insomnia, cardiac asthma, and biliary colic.Sesame seeds likewise contain two exceptional substances: sesamin and sesamolin known to have a cholesterol bringing impact in people and down to forestall hypertension. Cephalin, a phospholipid from sesame seed has been accounted for to have haemostatics action.The product is made by using different methods including soaking, drying, grinding, roasting and microwave baking.
