Abstract
Numerous studies have shown that masticatory performance deteriorates as the number of posterior teeth and occlusal surface area decrease. Congenitally missing teeth (CMT), or usually called as hypodontia, is a highly prevalent dental anomaly. Missing molars can also be because of endodontic or periodontal problems.
