Abstract
Breast cancer arises when certain breast cells start to grow abnormally they divide and replicate at a greater rate than normal cells. Regular exercise helps to reduce breast cancer by 10 to 20 percent. AIM: To analyse the inhibitory potential of endogenous over expression of superoxide dismutase (SOD) on apoptotic markers in breast cancer through silico analysis. The molecular docking analysis is a bioinformatic study. The endogenous substance SOD which is secreted after exercise is used as a target protein. The interaction of SOD with proteins relevant to breast cancer namely Bcl-2, Bcl-xl, Bax are included for docking analysis. The protein structure is retrieved using protein data bank, protein protein docking done using patch dock server followed by visualisation of protein -protein interaction using pymol.
