AbstractAnemia, the condition of high prevalence is divided into various types-based on lack of nutritional deficiencies like Iron, Vitamin B12 (cobalamin), Folic acid, protein deficiency etc., on the basis of genetic disorders like sickle cell anemia and thalassemia, on the basis of morphology of hemoglobin which includes color and size of the hemoglobin such as microcytic, normocytic or macrocytic having small size, normal size and large size respectively and hypochrome characterized by light color of RBC than the normal one. This is not the only classification of anemia but it is also divided on the basis of various other factors like on the basis of etiology, clinical signs and symptoms, on the basis of severity of any inflammation and the impaired production of RBC because of the defect in bone marrow, also known as aplastic anemia.
