PROFILE OF OPERATED ADRENAL TUMOURS: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY

Abstract
Adrenal tumors are seen in 5% of all people undergoing adrenal imaging. Majority are benign. Functioning tumors and malignant tumors accounts for a minority of operated tumors.METHODS:
All the patients who underwent adrenelectomy from our center in the last 3 years were included in our study and their data was collected retrospectively.
RESULTS: During the 3-year study period,11 patients with adrenal tumors were operated from our center . The most common tumor sub type identified was the adrenal cyst and there were two pheochromocytomas and two adrenal cortical carcinomas.
CONCLUSION
In our study we concluded that most of the operated tumors are benign
