Abstract

During Covid-2019, this article is dedicated to the investigation of the
hagiographic works, including some information about the research, scientific
view and investigation of major scholars of the world. The materials studied
showed that foreign scientists conducted numerous studies within the
framework of hagiographic works, their language, style, originality of literary
and linguistic variants, linguistic and non-linguistic factors, historicaletymological
basis. They also deeply studied the teachings of the Saints, the
angios, the Pirs, their lives and activities.
Although in Uzbek linguistics and literary studies there are some
scientific works devoted to the study of hagiographic works, scientific studies
devoted to the translation of hagiographic works have practically not been
carried out.
