Abstract

Distraction osteogenesis is a biological process of Formation of the bone between the two bone spaces by the Gradual incremental traction. The simultaneous expansion of the soft tissues, including nerves, blood vessels, muscles, ligaments, fat and skin produces excellent aesthetic and functional results and minimizes the skeletal relapse.
