Psychiatry,addiction and child psychiatry, medical psychology, psychotherapy department The paper presents the results of studies of the clinical and neurological status in patients with vertebrobasilar insufficiency (VBI) with impaired venous circulation in the brain. The obtained results allow concluding that clinical course of the disease in patients with VBI depends not only on basilar and vertebral artery lesions but also, largely, on impaired cerebral venous blood circulation.
