Unique mononuclear complexes were synthesized from their precursor compounds by Schiff base condensation. The mononuclear manganese(III) and zinc(II) complexes were spectrally characterized. Elemental, hydrolysis activities were also carried out. The complexes were screened to probe their potential for DNA binding, antifungal and antibacterial activities.
