Abstract

We reported an productive and green procedure for one pot, three-component condensation
reaction of 4-hydroxycoumarine, malononitrile and appropriate aldehydes using β- alanine as
a catalyst under solvent free conditions at ph 6 ,gave dihydropyrano[3,2-c] chromenes
derivatives at 650C. Here new compounds are synthesized and the result were compared by
FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13NMR as well as Mass spectra .Short reaction time, cost effective ,clean
reaction profile, ,simple isolation, excellent yield and environment benign are the main
advantages of this procedure.
