Abstract

The article presents general information about etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis and clinical manifestations infections COVID-19. The features and factors affecting the prevalence of COVID-19 in European countries and in the Russian Federation are given. Mechanisms consideredinvasions of SARSCoV-2 and specific clinical manifestations of COVID-19 encountered in dental practice. Provides supporting facts about three different ways of spreading COVID-19 in dental practice, as well as data that allow making a conclusion and the possibility of infection through other routes. The features of the diagnosis of COVID-19 in dental practice, namely the factors that allow diagnostics in the early stages of the disease, are considered.
