The aimofthisresearch work wasto prepare and characterize different crystal forms of Febuxostat which is Xanthine oxidase inhibitor, used as an Antigout agent, Febuxostat recrystallized by Ultrasonication from mixture of various batches of acetone-water, ethanol-water, methanol-water and the resultant mixture were stored for 7 days at room temperature.
