Abstract

BACKGROUND: Intra articular proximal phalanx fractures are difficult to treat with k wire fixation and splinting. In this study we use K wires and rubber band for maintaining anatomical reduction of fracture fragments for intra articular PIP fractures. The aim of treatment for phalanx fractures of the hand is to appropriately heal the fracture while avoiding complications such as stiffness and deformity
