Introduction: A high blood pressure that doesn't have a known secondary cause is called as essential hypertension, is a leading cause of death worldwide. Calcium supplementation known to reduce the blood pressure in normal healthy individuals. Objective: The present study aims towards analysing the correlation between serum calcium level with the blood pressure among patients with essential hypertension.
