The most important global threat to human health is antimicrobial resistance. It is evident that Asia's nations are the epicentres of resistance, where bacterial infections are responsible for the rapid rise in antimicrobial resistance. Drug-resistant infections are mostly caused by the improper and excessive use of antibiotics. In addition to the spread of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics, poor sanitation and access to clean water all contribute to the problem. Antimicrobial resistance has the potential to have an impact on people at any stage of life, including those working in the medical, veterinary, and agricultural fields. The use of antimicrobial medications, such as carbapenems, linezolid, and vancomycin, which are crucial for human treatment, has begun among veterinarians.
