Background and objective: Distal tibial metaphyseal fractures are difficult to manage and are challenging to most orthopaedic surgeons. The mechanism of injury and their proximity to ankle joint makes surgical treatment complicated. Most fractures at this site need to be fixed because non-operative treatment results in loss of reduction and subsequent malunion, nonunion. Currently, surgeons have variety of options and implants for the treatment of these fractures
