Abstract: In this article, the effect of delay parameter on the wood-based industries depleting the forest biomass is analysed using a mathematical model. The logistic growth of forest biomass is assumed in the lack of wood-based industries. System behavior within all feasible equilibria is studied using differential equation stability theory. The delay parameter ???? is a key parameter in the proposed model, and the system shows complex behaviour by exhibiting Hopf-bifurcation about interior equilibrium. The calculated procedural results are substantiated using simulation with MATLAB.
