Abstract: We studied the treatment of wastewater from silk-winding production using traditional (activated carbon grades AU-e) and alternative sorbents (kaolin and bentonite in a combined method with the simultaneous involvement of coagulants FeCl3×6H2O, Al2(SO4)3×18H2O). It was found that the best option among the reagents considered is to use FeCl3 × 6H2O and Al2(SO4)3 × 18H2O as a coagulant, and kaolin and bentonite as a sorbent in concentrations of 0.75 mg/l, 0.5 mg/l, 2.0 g/l and 2.0 g/l, respectively.
