Purpose- This paper is an analysis of the current COVID-19 scenario and its inevitable effect on the economies around the world. The aim of this study is to provide an overview and the implications of a pandemic to the health economics of any country irrespective of being developed or otherwise developing. Design/Methodology/Approach-For the same, data has been collected through secondary sources likes articles, reports including online and offline data sources. The implications of the pandemic under political and economic repercussions, and its implications to the policy makers in the immediate future were studied and complied for the current study. Findings- The study has brought forward a long-term assessments and speculations of the effects of the on going pandemic.
